French actor Gérard Depardieu is accused of sexual assault. A female camera assistant says she was assaulted by Depardieu in 2015. This is the fifteenth allegation of sexual misconduct against the 74-year-old actor.
The camera assistant told the French radio station France Inter that she collaborated on a film set with Depardieu in 2015. The actor is said to have made comments about her body at the time.
At a later moment he would have shown his penis to her. “I left the room as fast as I could, but he stopped me in the hallway and pinned me against the wall,” the woman says. She did not file a report against Depardieu after the incident.
Earlier this year, thirteen women accused the actor of sexual misconduct. The cross-border behavior would have taken place in films and series that Depardieu participated in between 2004 and 2022, including the Netflix series Marseille.
There is also a case of actress Charlotte Arnould against Depardieu. The actor would have forced her to have sex twice in 2018. The Oscar winner denies all allegations.
Depardieu is known for the films, among others Life of Pi, Green Card in Cyrano de Bergerac.
