1240 points registered during his visit to France
At 31, he knows the Jeep Elite well, having already competed in the colors of Nanterre 92 during the 2015/2016 season, then in Monaco between 2017 and 2019.
In the Principality, Gerald Robinson distinguished himself by being selected for the All Star Game 2017, then by establishing himself as one of the great architects of Monaco’s victories during the Leaders Cup 2017 and 2018. An experienced player
Previously, the colossus had a globetrotter career, putting his luggage in eight different countries and in several renowned championships: Latvia, Germany, Spain, Greece or Italy among others.
This season, he was playing on the other side of the Alps, first at Virtus Rome before the club filed for bankruptcy and released him from his contract, then at Pesaro. His first part of the season reveals rather flattering statistics: 11.9 points, 3.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds for 9.4 evaluation on average.
Dijon coach Laurent Legname believes that he “should bring added value to the team”.
On the club’s website, Laurent Legname develops: “After analyzing the overall situation (calendar at the end of the season), with a great possibility of increasing the number of matches, we felt it necessary to bring an additional element to our team. Not wanting to disturb the balance of the group ( given the very good first half of the season), it is obvious that this element should bring added value to the team.
In this sense, the arrival of Gerald appears to meet these criteria, both by his talent and his experience in the French championship. Complementary to Axel and David, it will bring us more solutions in the creation of our game. “
After ten days of the championship, the Jeanne ranks third in the Jeep Elite with a record of eight wins and two losses. She will travel to Chalon-sur-Saône on Saturday 6 February to compete in the derby.
