The Nordic combined was the last winter Olympic sport to have a men’s World Cup until this season. The women were to make their debut two weeks ago in Lillehammer, but the races were canceled due to coronavirus restrictions. At the end of February in Oberstdorf, the association will fight for the first time for medals at the World Championships in classic skiing.
Together with Geraghty-Moats, Norwegian Gyda Westvold Hansen and Japanese Andju Nakamura competed today after a jump on the middle bridge and a five-kilometer run on the podium. The race was attended by 30 associations from nine countries, the Czechia was not among them.
