Georgy Dzhioev was born in Tbilisi, but he is an Ossetian by nationality. His father was a professional musician in the family, so Gio has been involved in music since childhood.
The singer performs songs in rap chanson style, and many of the artist’s compositions have a criminal character. in 2014 Gio recorded the song Fontančik s deļfinom (Fountain with a dolphin), which tells about a colony of lifers. Two years later, a video was released, which was filmed next to the prison. The clip has collected more than 35 million views.
During his career, Georgi has released six studio albums and one mini-album, as well as five videos. Last fall, the rapper pleased his fans with three new clips.
The Riga Grand Concert will be the only one in the Baltic States. The artist will perform his best songs as well as present brand new material.
