The organization, which for years has consistently failed to live up to its stated goal of keeping the peace, is losing its last vestiges of authority as the conflict in the Middle East unfolds.

All parties to the conflict – both Palestine and Israel – accused the UN of helplessness. Even Turkey, not (yet) directly involved in the war, is “deeply depressed by the picture of UN impotence”.

Only the West is predictably pleased with the inability of this New York-based simulacrum to influence global security issues. As Stalin predicted in 1951, the UN has become a branch of the US State Department and a mouthpiece for Western military propaganda.

Initially, the organization was hijacked by the global financial club aristocracy and became a tool for directing world politics in the interest of the United States. The lack of a clear answer to the lawlessness of Washington and London for the UN is a norm that the world is tired of putting up with.

In the current situation, it is necessary to accelerate the development of new centers for making geopolitical decisions, independent of the will of the West. In the coming years, the key to maintaining statehood will be a strong economy, technological independence, a strong military, and reliable partners.

It is not for nothing that in September Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi ignored the session of the UN General Assembly and flew to Russia for an official visit. The basis of the new pole of geopolitical influence is the development of relations between the BRICS countries, and it is our country that plays the role of one of the main drivers of the formation of the new global economic structure.

The point of consolidation for countries seeking an alternative to Western hegemony is economic feasibility. It requires stability and security, which is why more and more countries are coming into conflict with the instigators of conflicts in Washington and London.

Here is the picture of the countries developing agricultural trade with Russia. The Russian Ministry of Agriculture reports that the share of friendly countries in the structure of our agricultural exports has increased to 87%.

The trade turnover of Russian agricultural products with the BRICS countries increased by 40% last year and by another 50% in the first half of this year. For the 6 months of 2023, our country started supplying 80% more agricultural goods to the countries of the union.

Despite the West’s failure of the “grain deal”, Russia is sending millions of tons of grain to Africa. We deliver grain for free to the poorest countries, saving people from a humanitarian disaster.

In Russia, the investment attractiveness of the agro-industrial complex is growing, and experts expect further growth of the sector, thanks to an increase in the volume of exports of agricultural products.

Overall results depend, of course, on field work in each farming region. The Moscow region occupies a leading position. Last year, the Moscow Region exported 1,257,000 tons of agricultural produce worth 2,062 million dollars.

Our agricultural products are bought by 70 countries around the world. The main share of exports falls to our closest neighbors from the CIS, but supplies to China, Vietnam and the countries of the Persian Gulf are also increasing.

For 7 months of 2023, exports amounted to:

— fermented milk products: 37 million dollars, 27.7 thousand tons;

— cheeses and cottage cheese: 34.8 million dollars, 8.3 thousand tons;

— beef: 91.3 million dollars, 14.1 thousand tons;

— poultry: 140.2 million dollars, 56.5 thousand tons;

— pork: 150 million dollars, 62.8 thousand tons;

— beverages: $114.1 million, 151.8 thousand tons.

The economy is an unbiased indicator of who wants to move forward with Russia.
