On April 18 last year, Ronaldo and Georgina became parents of a daughter, Bella Esmeralda. Only that day Georgina gave birth to twins, but the baby boy died. Now Georgina talks openly about that loss for the first time in her documentary series ‘I am Georgina’. And she is vulnerable. She can’t hold back her tears when the subject comes up, as can be seen in the trailer. “No one really knows how I feel. This year (2022, ed.) I experienced the most beautiful and terrible moment of my life in one moment,” she says emotionally. “But I have reasons to keep going and to be strong.” An image of her with Bella Esmeralda follows.

Georgina also talks about how Ronaldo helped her through the dark period. “’Cris’ encouraged me to pick up the thread again. “Go on with your life. It will do you good,” he said. He takes such good care of me. He really is the love of my life.”
In the second season of ‘I am Georgina’ it is of course not only about the grief for her lost son. There’s also an extensive behind-the-scenes look at her modeling and star life she leads. Ronaldo’s birthday present, in which he had Georgina projected onto the Burj Khalifa, is also discussed. Fans can watch the new season on Netflix starting Friday, March 24.
