Georgina Verbaan (42) is severely punished in ‘Het Perfecte Plaatje’ in the Wednesday evening episode and has to leave the program just before the big showdown. In ‘Behind The Perfect Picture’ she now tells her story and is very candid about her love life.

Two last shoots have to decide who falls at the last minute. Because Bonaire – where the final takes place – is one of the kite hotspots in the world, it is the task of the finalists to capture a kite surfer. And in a very special way. Although Georgina shoots a sloppy 1,100 photos, only a small portion is usable. The jury is therefore inexorable.
“The assignment was that we would take a picture of a kite surfer half underwater and half above water. And yes, that was difficult,” she laughs. “I’ve photographed my own toes quite often – that was interesting too, but even less of a task than what I ended up baking.”

Despite the jury comments – the photo is ultimately rated with a 5, so an insufficient – the actress still stands behind her choice. She says: “I was looking and I did have a few things… but in the end it all got a bit dull.”
“I thought that maybe that was what they wanted to see, but then I thought: no. I have chosen it, I have now come this far – I was allowed to go on the trip – I am now not going to hand in anything that I do not support or stupid. Then it’s not the assignment and I’ll just leave. The jury thought it was worth a 5 … well fine.”

Georgina does not only discuss her photos in the video The Perfect Picture, but also some other shots that are dear to her. This is how her love life is discussed when it comes to the film ANNE+, in which Georgina has a role. The film received rave reviews both in the Netherlands and abroad due to, among other things, the refreshing style and diversity of the characters.
“I’ve always been open about it,” Georgina says about her bisexuality. “People thought: is she now ‘suddenly’ of women’s love, but that both were an option I have never been silent about that.” At the moment it is quiet for a while because of corona. “There’s not really anything going on in love right now, it’s kind of boring.”

Juvat Westendorp, who dropped out last week, also took part in Behind The Perfect Picture his story. He talked about the emotional shoot with his good girlfriend, among other things. the former GTST-star is happy to announce that she is now doing much better. “She’s doing very well now,” he says with a big smile on his face. “She recently got a call from her doctor, her doctor, that she’s cancer-free. So that’s really great news.”
