In statements that will be discussed, Adonis Georgiadis proceeded in his radio interview with Parapolitika, commenting on yesterday’s results of PASOK’s internal party elections.
Specifically, the Minister of Health and vice-president of New Democracy initially said that “I cannot comment on an ongoing internal party process in another party, I will not say who should come out on Sunday, whoever the voters of PASOK think will come out. Surely the political characteristics of Mr. Geroulanos and Mrs. Diamantopoulos would put more pressure on the ND.”
“I would consider Ms. Diamantopoulou a very difficult opponent”
At the same time, Adonis Georgiadis noted that “I kept reading the ND’s secret plan to make Anna Diamantopoulou president of PASOK, there is no greater slander for Mrs. Diamantopoulou. Of course, the ND did not interfere at all in the PASOK election, and if you ask me, if I would consider Mrs. Diamantopoulou an easy opponent for the ND, I would consider her very difficult.”
It is recalled that in today’s briefing for the political editors, Pavlos Marinakis said about the internal party elections of PASOK that “We welcome any participation even if it did not live up to the most optimistic and expectations”while adding that “We are yet to see what the final decision of the PASOK voters will be”.
