The Junior Eurovision Song Contest was won by the Georgian entry Andria Putkaradze. He got the most points for his song To my mother. Especially with the jury, 11-year-old Andria scored well with his song for mothers.

The Netherlands finished tenth in the youth version of the popular song festival. The Netherlands was represented by Stay Tuned with the song Music.
Stay Tuned consists of teenagers Niek, Miucha, Chiara and Inkar. Miucha participated in it The Children’s Voicesang Inkar at Children for Children.
Eighteen countries took part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Apart from Georgia, the top 3 consisted of Portugal and Ukraine. The final runners-up were North Macedonia and San Marino.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been held since 2003. Georgia has now won four times, making it the record holder. The Netherlands won in 2009 with the song Click on clack van Ralf Mackenbach.
The event is organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which is also behind the main Eurovision Song Contest. Unlike the Eurovision Song Contest, participants in the youth edition all sing in their own language.
