Georgia Receives Chinese Sinopharm Vaccine

Vaccine from China arrived in Georgia

The vaccination process with the Chinese vaccine will begin in Georgia after receiving permission from the World Health Organization.

Today, April 3, 100,000 doses of the Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine against COVID-19 were delivered to Georgia. It is reported by Echo of the Caucasus.

According to the Ministry of Health of Georgia, the process of immunization with the Sinopharm vaccine will begin after receiving permission from the WHO.

It is specified that the vaccines arrived by special flight to Tbilisi International Airport this morning.

At this stage, Sinopharm vaccinations will be available to people over 55 years of age and to medical staff. Sinopharm requires two doses of vaccination 21 days apart.

Earlier it was reported that in Ukraine will use the CoronaVac vaccine by the Chinese company Sinovac Biotec.
