Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the coalition of opposition parties in Georgia, says that the results of the official election are a “constitutional coup” and says that they do not recognize them, NTB-Reuters reports.
Gvaramia says that they have realized how the election was stolen through technological deception and that Georgian Dream must recognize the victory of the opposition and take responsibility for what has happened, the Georgian broadcaster reports 1 television.
– We will continue to investigate because the election was stolen in different ways, he said.
After the votes from 70 percent of the constituencies were counted, the election authorities in Georgia announced that the ruling Georgian Dream party had won.
It is said that the party received 53 percent support.
This is in contrast to two polls on election day which showed a clear lead for the union of the country’s non-EU opposition parties.

“We do not recognize the result of this stolen election, as presented by the Central Electoral Commission,” the United National Movement (UNM) party wrote on its X account.
“We will fight until the regime falls,” he says.
Tinatin Bokuchava is the leader of the UNM, and Mikheil Saakashvili founded the party in 2001.
According to election authorities, the ruling party Georgian Dream won with 52.99 percent in the election to the national assembly on Saturday, while the opposition got a total of 38.4 percent, the website reports, among other things another. civil.ge.
