TBILISI – Football players from Georgia and Portugal advanced to the quarterfinals of the European Under-21 Championship.

In Tuesday’s meeting in Group A, the home team in Tbilisi drew 1:1 with the Netherlands, the Portuguese were sent to the elimination round by a 2:1 victory over Belgium.

In “B” group, Spain and Ukraine were already certain of advance, their match on Tuesday resulted in a 2:2 draw.
