Would you like to visit interesting events in Burgas? Next Thursday, 10/3/2024, your wish will be granted. As part of the VII Port Prim Art Fest, Georgi Toshev and Maria Kasimova – Moase will be guests in the seaside town. Here is what they will present and where they will be waiting for you.
From 18:00 at the Grand Hotel and SPA Primorets, Georgi Toshev presents literature and documentary cinema on the occasion of Tatiana Lolova’s 90th birthday. Entrance – free.
The documentary “The Last Spectacle” will be screened with authors Kaloyana Klimentova and Georgi Toshev. Tatyana Lolova’s husband Svetoslav Svetoslavov – Slave, actors Koyna Ruseva and Velislav Pavlov, director Iliyan Dzevelekov, singer Orlin Goranov, producer Igor Markovski and others take part in the film. Viewers will follow the remarkable life and creative path of the great actress.
The book “Tatyana Lolova from A to Z. Notes, thoughts, photos” will also be presented, which also includes untold stories and archival photos. Each letter of the alphabet sets a theme, on which the ever-smiling beloved actress tells on the pages earthily and from the heart a memory, an impression or her personal life philosophy about gratitude, stupidity, audacity, oblivion, love, dream, hope, theater, smile, kiss, happiness .
From 7:30 p.m. at the Modern Theater Club at 1 Milin Kamak Street, Maria Kasimova-Moase will present her storytelling show “Red Star, Block 28”
In her second solo performance, Maria Kasimova will take the audience on a journey into the era of “developed” socialism. For this purpose, surrounded by objects, classics of the lifestyle of the time, she will share her personal incidents from the years 1969 to 1989, each presented with humor and without hidden nostalgia or social criticism of this both comical and absurd time.
The older will remember and the young will learn the truth about many things, among them the one about the pioneer camps, party neighbors, school friends, Chinese condoms, the military and the barracks, brigadier songs, lexicons, queues for bananas in December, giguli, Trabants and the lists for new cars, the ideological subversion of bourgeois “rotten capitalism” and … how to cook chicken in a beer bottle.
