“Students of the Forestry University will create future solutions for the development of the agriculture and forestry sector.” This was said by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Georgi Takhov during the opening of the academic year V Forestry University.
„You are the generation that will create solutions for the sustainable development of the agriculture and forestry sector,” Minister Takhov also said. He congratulated the teachers and students, wishing them success in the educational process.

Minister Takhov noted in his address that the sector of agriculture, food and forests is one of the most important pillars of the national economy. “The challenges we face – climate change and nature conservation – require increasingly competent and innovative solutions. It is here that specialists are created who will bear the responsibility for the management of natural resources”the Minister of Agriculture also said.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry of the National Assembly Ivan Ivanov, the Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Eng.
