Statement from the staff of the Georges Politzer college meeting in general assembly on Monday, March 27, 2023
This morning the police forcibly dispersed protesters who were blocking access to the garage
Dump trucks from Aubervilliers in support of the requisitioned garbage collectors.
police have chosen a violent and disproportionate intervention with punches
and truncheons to the head and legs of demonstrators who remained peaceful.
Three people were hospitalized, others including teachers
hematomas on the face, on the arm, and could not go to their place of work to come
perform their service, as was the case with one of our colleagues who was unable to come due to
truncheons to the legs.
In the face of this repression, we declare our support and solidarity with the demonstrators and
call for maintaining and massiveizing the mobilization. We denounce this use of force
violent and disproportionate which only aims to silence social protest through fear.
The staff meeting at a general meeting on March 27, 2023 at La Courneuve,
supported by the local union sections Sness-FSU, Sud éduc and the CGT.
