Saturday November 7, a little before 5:30 p.m., an accident occurred on the RN4, near Saint-Georges. A Hungarian heavy goods vehicle traveling in the Nancy-Sarrebourg direction struck the central guardrail at the entrance to the fast track portion.

The driver escaped unscathed, but in the shock, the tank and body parts of his truck were torn off and thrown onto the road, disrupting traffic conditions. This debris caused a puncture on another truck traveling towards Nancy.
On the other hand, there is no need to worry about it. DIR-Est agents cleaned the roadway before the RN4 was completely reopened to traffic.
