Beirut – “Al-Quds Al-Arabi”: In a concert, the first after the death of his eldest son, Wadih, last January, it was announced that the Sultan of Tarab, George Wassouf, would go to Kuwait to perform an artistic concert with the participation of the Kuwaiti audience.
The Egyptian artist Bahaa Sultan will participate with Souf in this concert on Friday, the tenth of next month, as stated in the promotional poster for this concert, in which he will present a variety of his lyrical archive, rich in the most beautiful songs that the audience loves.
This concert is considered as a reaction to the recent rumors about Wassouf’s retirement from singing, after the death of his son Wadih, who presented his soul with a sad emotional song entitled “The Text of My Life” on the occasion of the forty days since his death.
It should be noted that Farah Wassouf recently appeared after the birth of his first granddaughter, “Amia”, from his son, George Jr., as he embraced her, announcing the date of her birth on the 14th of this month.
