Yesterday evening, Thursday, the Syrian singer George Wassouf entertained the audience of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts in its 37th session, which is being held under the slogan “The Joy Continues”, with the most beautiful works of art in the public concert on the southern stage in the ancient city of Jerash.

The ceremony reached its artistic climax, when Al-Wasuf appeared to the audience, singing “Had Yasi Qalbih”, a song that is a well-established mark in the memory of the Arabic song, and the audience participated in singing excerpts from it.

Over the course of an hour and a half, the interaction between Al-Wasuf and the audience did not subside, so the tarabic singing remained present, and the audience kept waiting for what Al-Wasuf would sing, in order to share with him songs that express their memories with him, from “That’s enough” to “You blame me for a word” to “I lost all the people because of him.” To “Targhali” to “Bustani a day and two days”, the interaction was not normal, and the audience remained dominant and clinging to his artist, whose delicate health condition did not affect their love for him.

The ceremony, which began and ended safely and reassuringly, was provided by the public security officials in maintaining order, and the comfort of visitors and festival guests from families and families. It recorded a new success for the Jerash Festival management in keeping the slogan “and the joy continues” high.

The audience of the southern theater will meet, this Friday evening, with the Jordanian artists Osama Jabbour and the Tunisian Saber Al-Rubai, while on the northern stage, Samer Anwar, Suleiman Abboud and Badr Rami will sing.
