“The part of facilities, which we need so much, I repeat, in the coming years we will be able to enjoy the fruits that we have sought so much,” he insisted.
Regarding the topic of Honduran First Division, which is the one he commands, he was emphatic in arguing that they are improving but that everything is step by step.
“The relationship of the National League With the Federation in recent years it has been first-class, we are happy because we have had punctual participation, all of this has allowed us to have great results. We cannot hide that we have come from difficult years and what caused Covid 19, but this recovery process is coming so that both the National Team and the first division have that presence, ”he assured.
“Something that has happened to us that is important is that we have been declared by the IFFHS, recognized by FIFAas the second best league in Concacaf and the best in Central America, these are merits that we have achieved as a result of the participation of the First Division teams in the Concacaf tournaments”, he said.
Wilfredo Guzman clarified and made official that the following season will not be played with 12 teams in the National League, but that the plan has been built for the 2025-2026 season, that is, in two years.
“It is already a process that we are working on, we have made reforms to the same statutes, we worked on the last congress of the Fenafuthwhere it was decided that in the 2025-2026 season the National League will have 12 teams ”, he closed.
