George Lucas, the spiritual creator of Star Wars, has the reins in 2012 an Disney passed onwho have been looking after the brand ever since. Since then there have been various films that were sometimes more and sometimes less controversial, the first real film series, new animation series and much more.
So Disney still has big plans for Star Wars. And what is George Lucas doing in the meantime? What you do as a “Star Wars” mastermind: defected to the empire.
You heard that right, George Lucas is now becoming a stormtrooper. Hasbro recently announced that a new “George Lucas Stormtrooper” is becoming a reality.
Star Wars The Black Series: George Lucas als Stormtrooper
The spiritual father of Star Wars joins the popular “The Black Series” series, so he becomes 6 inch tall action figurethat will be available to buy in the near future. He wears Stormtrooper armor from the original trilogy. As a bonus there is one Helmet and a blaster to. Advance sales could start soon, while delivery for 2022 is provided.
George remembers in his Stormtrooper disguise strongly on the “Imperial Stormtrooper”, which is part of the merchandise product line for the real film series The Mandalorian represents. Hasbro says about the new action figure:
“This character embodies just one of many ways we can honor his legacy. We hope fans will appreciate it as much as we do. ”
It seems that Hasbro is building on the current “The Mandalorian” model, only the head of George Lucas has been replaced. On the left you can see the new George Trooper and on the right the already released Imperial Stormtrooper. The rest stayed the same.

In fact, this is not the first time that George Lucas has been immortalized as an action figure. It premiered for the first time in The Black Series, but there was 2006 already one 3.75 inch tall action figure from him, who was also equipped with Stormtrooper armor.
