George Floyd: caregivers in lab coats encourage protesters in New York

UNITED STATES – Hundreds of demonstrators protested peacefully in New York on Tuesday, June 2, despite the nighttime curfew implemented at 8 p.m. the day before. They once again denounced police violence after the death of George Floyd on May 27, who died after a white police officer clamped his knee to his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds.

For this fifth day of rally in New York, the medical staff joined the demonstrators, as you can see in the video above. Some have come out in front of the establishment where they work to encourage passers-by and thank them by applauding them. Others knelt in the city streets and chanted “Black Lives Matter”.

More than 200 protesters were arrested overnight.
