Geography Education for Future – Designing Sustainable Geographic Education – Leibniz University Hannover

Online training for geography teachers will take place on February 17th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After the greetings from Prof. Dr. Christiane Meyer (Institute for Natural Science Education, Leibniz University Hannover) and Dr. Marie Bludau (Lower Saxony Ministry of Culture) a virtual panel discussion on the topic of “Geography Education for Future” will take place. In the afternoon, five parallel workshops on different topics are offered in two runs. This includes virtual reality in lessons, post- and decolonial approaches in geography lessons or working with basic concepts. You can register for further training via VeDaB (no .: KH.2107.TG1).
