Gente de Arte – La Ciudad Avellaneda’s Reading Club

On April 3, the meetings of the Reading Club directed by Professor Roberto Moyano will begin at the People of Art Association of Avellaneda, Alsina 234, on Mondays, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

As Prof. Moyano explains, it is a space for the commented reading of literary works belonging to different genres, whether narrative, lyrical or dramatic, with the aim that those who participate enjoy the beauty of the written word and, in turn, , increase their cultural competence with the knowledge of writers and their representative works.

The reading is complemented with some content of literary theory necessary to understand in depth what is read and also about the theme of each author. All this as a support for the reading; something like a tool that facilitates the enjoyment of the beauty of written thought.

For this year, Prof. Moyano proposes to start with the three great poetesses of South America: Alfonsina Storni, Gabriela Mistral and Juana de Ibarborou. Then he will continue with the autobiographical genre, with works by Norah Lange, Victoria Ocampo and María Rosa Oliver, and will continue with works from the River Plate and independent theater, with stories by Manuel Mujica Láinez and Daniel Hernández.

For information, you can go in person, or call 4201-7663 or Whatsapp 11-6049-1780 from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., or on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Instagram @gente. de.arte or by mail to [email protected].
