Genshin Impact shows first week banner earnings from the ongoing first week Limited Character Banners for Nahida and Nilou. The update consists of two banner cycles, each of which offers two limited five-star and three four-star characters. These Limited Character Banners usually last for 3-4 weeks before a new set of characters takes their place.
Although Genshin Impact’s ongoing update cycle does not include any new roster additions, it does feature two popular Sumeru characters, Dendro Archon Nahida and Zubayr Theater star known as Nilou. Players looking to get their hands on these playable units don’t have much time left as their banner is slated to expire in a few days.
A Reddit user named TimocaSamJa shared an interesting chart showing first week sales for their ongoing double banner featuring Nilou and Nahida. According to the post, the banner is in 8th place in the overall earnings list. Many players claim that while making it to the top 10 on the list could be considered a success for any banner, they actually expected the ranking to be even higher as it featured the first rerun for the famous Dendro Archon Nahida.
Since its release in version 3.1, Nahida has become the strongest Dendro character in the game thanks to a very flexible kit and a great Dendro app. His first banner appearance with Yoimiya even managed to break Genshin Impact’s overall sales record at that time.

One of the reasons why banner isn’t ranked higher is because the second character, Nilou, is a very special unit at least compared to most of the other supports in the game. Nilou’s entire kit revolves around a single elemental reaction named Bloom which can be triggered by combining Dendro and Hydro. This reaction will drop a small Dendro core on the ground which explodes after a few seconds.

Nahida’s passive skill turns this core into a Bountiful Core which has a much bigger AoE and deals more damage. Many players who didn’t want to toy with this elemental reaction probably avoided pulling it off. Another reason why many players have missed the banner could be that HoYoverse confirmed that the second banner cycle will feature two new Genshin Impact characters.
Both Baizhu and Kaveh are confirmed to be Dendro users and their primary role is likely to be support. Following HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, players can expect it to arrive around May 2nd.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is currently under development.
