About the Tournament
The Genesis X tournament, the 10th installment of the Genesis series, is returning bigger and better than ever. The tournament will take place in San Jose, California and will feature top players from the Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate communities. With over 4,800 participants, Genesis X is one of the largest tournaments in the competitive gaming scene.

The tournament boasts a star-studded line-up of top players in the Super Smash Bros. community. Some of the notable entrants include Cody Schwab, LG|Sonix, FaZe|Sparg0, LG|Tweek, LG|MkLeo, MxM|Zain, TSM|Leffen, C9|Mango, and many more.
Main Titles and Participants
The main titles for the tournament are Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with over 1,500 entrants each. Additionally, there are over 200 participants for Street Fighter 6, Rivals of Aether, and its sequel Rivals 2. Other titles, including Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, also have a significant number of participants.
Tournament Events and Streaming
The tournament features various events and streams for different games. Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising and Under Night In-Birth 2: Sys[celes] will be streamed, while there will be Doubles events for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Rivals of Aether, and Super Smash Bros. 64, among others. The tournament can be watched on the Genesis GG and other associated Twitch streams.
