Thank you for your interest in joining the BSD Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advisory Committee.
Please complete the following application to be considered for an appointment to the committee. The application must be submitted on December 6 before 4:00 PM.
Purpose
The committee will explore and develop suggested guidelines for the responsible use of Generative AI applications on BSD. The focus will be on ensuring that AI technologies are used to improve teaching and learning outcomes for students and improve operational efficiency for staff. The advisory committee will provide information to support the safe and effective adoption of AI.
Members will be students, parents/guardians, staff and administrators.
Meeting calendar
The committee will meet monthly beginning in January 2025 and continuing through April 2025, although additional meetings may be scheduled if necessary. Meeting dates include:
- Wednesday, January 15
- Wednesday February 19
- Wednesday March 19
- Wednesday April 16
Meetings will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in the District Administrative Office; A light dinner will be served.
