This effort has been in place since October 2020 when Samsung and UNDP provided mentorship, technology and opportunities networking for world leaders to maximize their career potential, to achieve global goals.
This year 6 young leaders from around the world joined as global representatives and part of Generation17. One of which is sociopreneur young Indonesian, Tamara Dewi Gondo Soerijo.
Tamara is runner-up the third Miss Indonesia 2019 who joined Generation17 earlier this year. He also became Indonesia’s first representative in the initiative.

“We are delighted that Tamara has been chosen to be one of the 14 young world leaders. We hope that smartphone innovation and the ecosystem that it brings will start from Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Tab S8, and wearables make it easier for Tamara to carry out activities and contribute to various sustainability activities,” said Verry.
