Welcome to Godolkin University, the background of Eric Kripkethe upcoming spin-off series Generation V. During the Prime Video panel at CCXP this afternoon, the studio unveiled the first trailer for its new series set in The boys universe and, as expected, it’s as weird and bloody as you’d hope. A few months ago, global social media account Vought International shared a glimpse of the “comfortable environment” they’ve created for the next generation of heroes, but the trailer reveals much more about what this offshoot series is all about.
Put the air of royal luxury“I’m Gonna Do My Thing”, the first trailer of Generation V show the blood and glory of being enrolled in the academic halls of Vought International: Godolkin University’s crime-fighting school. The series will explore the lives of hormonal and competitive Supes as they test their physical, sexual and moral limits, vying for high school placement. Who does not love a good hunger games-life-and-death combat situation with killer puppets?
The cast includes Jaz Sinclair, Broadway lie, Chance Perdomo, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Shelley Conn, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomaset Marco Pigossi. And, from the trailer, it looks like fans of The boys will see some familiar faces in the spinoff, including Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifieet PJ Byrne. The trailer also revealed it Clancy Brun, Alexander Calvertet Jason Ritter joined the series.
The series, which was initially called The boys present: Varsitywas developed by Craig Rosenbergwith Michael Potier et tara beurres serve as co-showrunner. Kripke and Rosenberg executive produce alongside Fazekas, Butters, Seth Rogen, Eve Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Or me Marble, bait Shetty, Ken Wine, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, craves rosenberg, Zack Schwartz, Heather Redheadset Michaela Star. Generation V isn’t the only spinoff whose fans The boys can’t wait, Seth Rogen recently spoke to Deadline about the ultra-violent animated anthology series The Boys Presents : Diaboliquewhich he hopes will make it to a second season on Prime Video.

Production is underway in Toronto on the fourth season of The boys, and the cast list gets more and more impressive with each new episode they slip under their belts. Earlier this week they announced it Simone Pegg would return to reprise his role of Major Hugh Campbell with Rosemarie Dewitt uniting as his wife, in addition to Rob Benoît et Elliot Knight. They join the main cast of Jack Quaid, Charles Urban, Antoine Star, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligottJessie T. Usher, laz also, Hunting Crawford, Tom Caponeet Karen Fukuhara. Season 4 also added two new “supers” to the cast, with Susan Heyward et Evaluate Curry teaming up with Sister Sage and Firecracker, respectively.
