Generali makes 136 million euros less profit than planned

The conflict in Ukraine and the sanctions against Russia messed up Generali’s business at the beginning of the year. As the Trieste insurance group reports, profits fell by a good nine percent to EUR 727 million in the first three months of the current year (Q1 2021: EUR 802 million). Without these charges, profit would have increased to EUR 863 million.
