Generali Germany reorganizes the top management. Edoardo Malpaga, an internationally experienced manager in the areas of capital management and corporate finance, will become the new Chief Financial Officer on July 1, 2023. Malpaga has been working for Generali for many years, including in Italy, France, Great Britain and the USA. He triggers Milan Novotny who, after many years in Germany, will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer for Generali in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

In addition, Kathrin Schwidder will become Head of Prevention and Assistance Factories at Generali Germany as of August 1, 2023, as well as Managing Director at Generali Engagement Solutions and Generali Health Solutions. She remains in the management circle of the Insurtech Tech Hub Munich and is therefore well connected in the digital start-up scene.

Changes, also at the Deutsche Bausparkasse Badenia

Kreuziger succeeds Christof Schick, who is leaving the company at his own request after many years of service.

Petrissa Gath will be the new General Manager of Deutsche Bausparkasse Badenia on August 1st, 2023. She has been with Generali Deutschland since 2019, most recently as Head of Capital Management. Prior to that, she worked for almost 15 years in a management position at PWC for banks and insurance companies.

“I welcome the new colleagues in the top management of Generali Deutschland and am pleased that with these appointments we are further strengthening the diversity in the management team at Generali Deutschland,” says Stefan Lehmann, CEO of Generali Deutschland.
