Three SAS departures from Oslo and one from Bergen to Italy have been canceled on Saturday, according to press manager Tonje Sund.

She describes the situation as “demanding.”

– The flights are full and it is more demanding to rebook than normal, so there will be big consequences for those affected, she says.

Personnel who handle check-in at Italian airports announced a strike earlier this week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Norwegian time on Saturday.

Sund says there are ten round trips in total that have been canceled as a result of the strike in Italy: the four from Oslo and Bergen, six from Stockholm and Denmark.

These SAS departures are affected:

06:30 from Oslo to Catania. 07:15 from Oslo to Milan Malpensa. 07:55 from Bergen to Milan Malpensa. 08:00 from Oslo to Venice.

– Demanding

SAS press manager Sund goes on to say that travelers must expect to wait a couple of days to be able to rebook their flight.

– It is out of our control this time, but it is clear that it is very boring for those who are affected.

– Do you expect more settings as a result of the strike?

– My understanding is that these are the departures that will be affected in the first instance. Advice to travelers is that if you haven’t heard anything else, turn up as agreed, says Sund.
