General public vaccination begins this Monday with the over 75s

As of Monday, people over 75 years old, or with a medical prescription given certain pathologies, can be vaccinated if they wish. The appointment setting has been open since Friday. 4 vaccination centers are accessible, 8 from Thursday.

After nursing home residents and staff, hospital and private health professionals, firefighters, medical transporters and home helpers, part of the general public can now have access to vaccination.

Priority audiences concerned

People over the age of 75 can therefore claim it. Also concerned are people with certain pathologies and provided with a medical prescription. Patients with pathologies exposing them to a very high risk of Covid are those suffering from cancer or malignant haematological diseases undergoing treatment with chemotherapy, those suffering from chronic kidney diseases, including people on dialysis, people with solid organ transplants or by allografts of hematopoietic stem cells.

Patients with multiple chronic pathologies, at least two organ failure, those with certain rare diseases or even those with Down’s syndrome are also concerned.

First 4 vaccination centers, then 8 from January 28

The vaccination centers are 4 in number for the moment, and remain those set up on January 21 for health professionals.
