Working hours :40 hours per week. Overtime and weekend shifts as needed

Description:

Bell Media’s Branded Entertainment team is looking for a versatile Producer with experience creating branded content. The successful candidate will work in a stimulating and collaborative environment with globally recognized entertainment brands and series. We create brand-driven digital, social and broadcast content that is culturally relevant, creative and fun!

As General Manager and Editor, Branded Entertainment, you will be responsible for the presentation, production, writing and logistical planning of high-calibre content that meets the standards of Bell Media and our brand partners.

The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller, able to collaborate effectively and with a spirit of initiative to produce high-level productions, from start to finish. Exceptional pre-production and logistics project management skills required.

Responsibilities:

  • Logistics planning includes, but is not limited to, scheduling freelance contractors, obtaining permits, establishing contracts, preparing call sheets, and managing program budgets.
  • Conceptualize, create and implement original and creative content
  • Quickly create qualitative presentations for clients
  • Develop creative and narrative scripts and treatments
  • Produce, write and present a wide range of video, digital and social media content
  • Keep projects on track with accurate countdown schedules
  • Communicate effectively with leaders
  • Work overtime outside of working hours as needed
  • Perform other duties assigned to him/her by the Line Producer and Senior Producer

Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience as a producer and chief video editor for a media company, agency or independent producer, preferably writing content for a digital or social media platform
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro or related editing and creative platform experience
  • Experience leading production teams in the field and in the studio
  • Proven experience developing and producing creative content
  • Experience working on video productions optimized for web and social media platforms
  • Excellent general knowledge of branded, entertainment and popular culture content
  • Solid knowledge of Bell Media programs and internal programs
  • Initiative, ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills to deal with various stakeholders
  • Great editorial sensitivity, high content standards and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, proactivity, team spirit and leader
  • Knowledge of all major social media platforms and emerging trends
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and react quickly to changes
  • Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and meet tight deadlines for multiple tasks
  • Applicants must have a demo video of the projects they have completed

Desired skills:

  • Degree in Broadcasting, Journalism or Digital Content Production, Film or related field
  • Bilingualism, an asset
