Erin Hershey, a famous soap opera actress for “General Hospital”, didn’t want her children to go online Joe Bidenthe inauguration of… telling a teacher that she would never let them “look at a criminal”.
Erin has a daughter in elementary school in California, and after the little girl’s teacher emailed parents on Wednesday urging the kids to skip class to watch inauguration day, she responded. with some nasty comments about the new Prez.
According to the email channel, obtained by TMZ, Erin blasted this to the teacher and her family mates… “Why watch a criminal on TV? I would never do that to my kids. But thanks.”
Another parent then rushed to the teacher’s defense in the email chain, thanking her for considering families who wanted watch the historical moment and angering Erin by writing, “It doesn’t matter who takes office, we’re fortunate to be able to watch times like this.”
Erin quickly responded with another response, saying… “I don’t think we’re lucky to watch a joke down.”
The soap opera actress tells TMZ… that she maintains her emails and doesn’t regret sending them. Having said that… the point is, Joe Biden is NOT a criminal. And it’s up to her to decide if she wants her children to attend the inauguration. Too bad… the kids may have been inspired by a lot of people who were in the foreground, including Amanda Gorman.
