LIBEEVILLE, July 14, 2023 (AGP) – The Caisse des dépôts et consignations (CDC) is opening a counter for the receipt of deposits for candidates for the general elections of August 26, indicates an information note from this public banking establishment published this Friday July 14, 2023.
To show its willingness to support, the Caisse des dépôts et consignations (CDC) has taken a facilitation measure. “Following the communication from the Gabonese Election Center (CGE) relating to the extension of the deadline for submitting candidacies for the next elections, the general management of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations informs the candidates that its bank branch will be exceptionally open to them, for the receipt of said deposits, on Saturday July 15, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday July 16, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Gabonese Elections Center, meeting on Wednesday July 12, 2023, decided to extend to Sunday July 16, 2023, the deadline for submitting candidacies for the general elections. From this date, the CGE will have exactly ten days to decide on the said files and reveal the successful candidates who should participate in the general elections scheduled for August, in six weeks.
