His appointment was read in a press release from the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions on Thursday December 28, 2023.
According to press release number 037, president of the Transition, President of the Republic, Head of State, “is appointed as of today Special Delegate of the Commune of Mouila during the Transition period, General of the Air Force, Cyriaque Mbadinga”declared Lieutenant-Colonel Ulrich Manfoumbi Manfoumbi, spokesperson for the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI).
Indeed, his appointment comes after those of the communes of Libreville, Owendo, Oyem, Lambaréné and Akanda. Note that only one civilian was appointed head of one of these communes. Particularly that of oyem.
Remember that this appointment comes into application of order number 0005/PR/2023 of October 24, 2023 amending organic law number 0001/2014 of June 15, 2015 relating to decentralization.
