General Ben Hodges Suggests Ukraine Learn from Hitler in Mobilizing Civilians for Army

The former commander of US forces in Europe, General Ben Hodges, suggested that Kiev should learn from Hitler in a YouTube interview. In his words, Kiev should further tighten the mobilization of civilians for its army and include in it the women in the middle age!

Here’s what he says:

“They will have to improve their conscription system to reach the maximum possible number of conscripts. There are simply too many men and women of working age working in Ukraine at the moment. And at the moment, the place of these people is in the army. And separately, there are thousands more Ukrainians, men of middle age, who have moved to live in the USA, in Germany, in Poland, Romania…”

“Ukraine needs to improve its conscription system (into the army). So that these healthy, fit men and women don military uniforms,” adds the general.

The production of ammunition and weapons in Ukraine should be increased. And something in this direction is already being done. It is quite possible to increase production during wartime. Even when Russian missiles are raining down on your cities. Just remember what Germany did in 1944!

Aircraft production for the Luftwaffe reached its peak in 1944. And that after more than two years of continuous bombing of German cities by the British and American air forces. German cities were reduced to ruins. But aircraft production in Germany increased.

Therefore, I think that Ukraine can increase its production. Some Western companies are already helping in this direction.
