Last home match of the Regular Season for the Genea Lanzara. The Serie A Silver National Championship is nearing its final stages, with the last two rounds before the start of the promotion playoffs for the top flight. The Salerno team, however, still don’t know their opponent and the final results will be decisive in defining the grid of pairings of the eight teams that will compete for the two passes to reach Serie A Gold.
Exceptionally on Sunday, with kick-off at 5pm, the association dear to the president Domenico Sica will face, at the Caporale Palumbo gym in Salernol’HC San Giorgio Molteno.
The commitment is not the simplest, considering the caliber of the opponents and, at the same time, the absences that continue to plague the rossoblu roster. In the first leg the opponents prevailed with a final score of 32-25.
«We are training in the best possible way to face this delicate internal challenge against Molteno to the best of our ability – declares Francesco Avalloneplayer of Genea Lanzara – we still find ourselves having to deal with absences, so we will have to make a virtue of necessity but we are ready. We would like to give ourselves a great satisfaction in front of a friendly public, at the same time we will exploit both this match and the next one on Sicilian soil against Palermo to try to arrive with even clearer ideas towards the now imminent Promotion playoffs. In short, we will do everything we can to get the two points and also to redeem ourselves from the dull performance in the first round in Lombardy.”
The Genea Lanzara – Molteno match, directed by Mr and Mrs Vasile-Tempone, will be staged on Sunday 14 April at 5pm and will be streamed on the Youtube channel of the Italian Handball Game Federation.
