Genea Lanzara prepares for the challenge against Romagna

The parenthesis of the Youth League Under 20 is closed, the Genea Lanzara is expected from the last three regular season matches of the Serie A Silver National Championship. The Salerno team will face in succession: Romagna e Molteno within friendly walls, finally the CUS Palermo in Sicily on April 20th.

With qualification for the Promotion playoffs already in their pocket, the rossoblu led by Pasquale Maione they will have approximately three weeks to refine the latest game mechanisms and arrive in the best possible condition for the direct clashes to attempt the leap into the top flight.

There are, however, three matches still to be played which will be useful for many aspects, as the president underlines Domenico Sica: «We are now entering the key phase of the season, we have achieved the first two seasonal objectives, namely qualification for the playoffs with the first team and qualification for the Under 20 Final Eight. I must give a big round of applause to all the boys who, especially in this last period, they are gritting their teeth due to the numerous defections that we find ourselves having to face. First of all, we certainly want to recover the injured players for the most important matches, some will be available for the playoffs, others directly for the Under 20 championship finals. Nonetheless, we must not lose our determination and concentration, these three final matches of the regular season will be important to get ready for the first match of the playoffs on Saturday 27 April. We want to do well in the double home round in front of our friendly fans, despite being aware of having a reshuffled lineup. The group, once again, will have to come together and demonstrate their worth: I’m sure the boys will be absolutely ready.”
