A family in Michigan, USA, held a baby gender reveal party. When they learned that the baby was a girl, the whole family was overwhelmed with surprise and laughter. This is the first time the family has welcomed the birth of a daughter in 138 years, which makes them feel very happy.
American couple Carolyn and Andrew (Carolyn and Andrew Clark) welcomed the birth of daughter Audrey two weeks ago. The baby weighs 6 pounds and 8 ounces (about 2948 grams) and is 19.5 inches (about 49.5 centimeters) long. The delivery process is smooth and the baby is healthy. Since they had a miscarriage in 2021, the arrival of this child is of great significance to them.
Caroline recalled that when she was dating Andrew 10 years ago, she didn’t believe it when she first heard that the other family hadn’t had a daughter in a hundred years. She even confirmed to Andrew’s parents at the time, but the answer she received was that they had never had a daughter. Andrew said in an interview that since 1885, only uncles and uncles in his family have had daughters, so their family has always been dominated by men. For them, this incident is really a surprise.
