The gendarmerie launched a call for witnesses on Tuesday December 19, 2023 after the discovery of a seriously injured young man on a road in the town of Prinquiau (Loire-Atlantique).
Sunday December 17, 2023, around 5:40 a.m., this 17-year-old teenager was found unconscious in the middle of the road, on Departmental 100 near the place called Menais.
No trace of shock on site
He was taken to hospital in serious condition, suffering from internal injuries and fractures.
The hypothesis of a collision with a fleeing vehicle is being investigated, but investigators did not find any debris or signs of impact on site.
In its call for witnesses, the gendarmerie invites anyone who may have taken Departmental Road 100 which becomes rue de Donges “between the Prinquiau church and the “Basses Landes” crossroads between 5 a.m. and 5:40 a.m. to come forward. Sunday December 17, 2023.
