LIVE Techno – Gen Z is more likely than any other generation to invest their savings in their pets instead of using it to go on vacations.
This is according to a survey study conducted in February of 2,000 pet owners divided equally by generation, which was reported New York Post.
The results show that only 15% of Gen Z prefer to buy expensive concert tickets or go on vacation (30%) with cash saved up, while 42% prefer to save money for unexpected pet expenses.
Gen X echoes the same sentiment, 30% would rather save their money for their pet than travel (20%) or buy concert tickets (27%).

With Gen Z, they are 41% more likely to spend money on their pet than their partner.
Plus, Gen Z admits they’d rather see their pets happy than their partners (36% vs 21%), more than any other generation.
