New test results keep coming for the latest graphics chips on the market. Eyes are naturally focused mainly on models from Nvidia’s new line of GPUs and the latest data concerns the mobile version of the RTX 4080.
According to information obtained through benchmarks, GeForce RTX 4080 notebook graphics can be up to 20% faster than the RTX 3080 Ti of the previous lineup. But we know better these results.
GeForce RTX 4080 for laptops is 20% faster than RTX 3080 Ti
According to the leaked information, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card for laptops has been detected in the latest generation ACER Predator 'PH16-71' computer. This PC has high-end components and features, including the new powerful Intel Core i9-13900HX Raptor Lake processor with 23 cores and 32 threads. It also has DDR5 memory with a capacity of 32GB.
The machine has been benchmarked by the popular Geekbench platform and the GPU results are impressive. Through the following picture, we can see that ACER's notebook achieved a total score of 178,038 points.
In the benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4080 reached a clock frequency of 2010 MHz, and the data therefore indicates that this chip manages to be up to 20% faster than the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. Nvidia's new graphics card for laptops features cores that are nearly 24% smaller than the desktop version. It also comes with a total of 58 SMs of 7,424 cores and a capacity of 12GB GDDR6 memory with a 192-bit interface.
