The GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition 16GB PCB has 8 GDDR6X memory modules arranged around the AD103 GPU. Each module is 2GB for a total of 16GB of VRAM capacity. The memory clock is 22.4Gbps, which is the fastest among GeForce RTX 4000 series at present. It has 9728 CUDA cores, which is 5% less than the full specification of the AD103 GPU. The PCB is supposed to have up to 27 phases, but actually only 17 phases are fitted. This indicates that it is compatible with the upcoming AD103 powerful graphics card such as the GeForce RTX 4080 Ti.

The GeForce RTX 4080 16GB card has room for a lot of components. As VideoCardz states, it appears to be designed to be compatible with high-end models with a forward-looking view.
Suggested retail price for the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB starts at 219,800 yen including tax. Scheduled to be released on November 16, 2022.
