Geforce RTX 3090 with Resizable BAR tested, what is the performance bonus?

Manufacturers of graphics card brands GALAX a Gainward have started offering Resizable BAR support on their GeForce RTX 3090/3080/3070 and 3060 Ti models, so now we can read about how it can be useful for us on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 in games. By the way, the GeForce RTX 3060 already has Resizable BAR support from the beginning, so there is no need to update the BIOS, and NVIDIA has previously announced that its reference versions will come with Resizable BAR support by the end of March. At the same time, it is almost over and NVIDIA has not yet published any such updates. –

According to NVIDIA, the Resizable BAR on GeForce will initially only support a very limited number of games, namely Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Battlefield V, Borderland 3, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Metro Exodus, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Watch Dogs Legion, which is true for RTX 3060. This should logically also apply to RTX 3090, which has now been tested on Chiphellu. –

All tests were performed in 4K resolution with maximum quality, after all, the RTX 3090 is designed to play in such a resolution, and at a lower level, the processor could be a narrow bottleneck, although Quad HD would still be suitable here. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 has the best results in Full HD thanks to Resizable BAR, but it is also a much weaker card. But what about RTX 3090 in 4K?

According to the table, the differences are, however, not significant and on average it is only 3.2%. But that was to be expected. After all, it is a function that will give us performance without any problems completely free of charge, and the only pity is that in the case of GeForce it is still limited by the choice of titles.
