Valve published an update on the most requested hardware and software among gamers Steam.
According to a monthly anonymous survey, which is conducted to find out which hardware and software users of the platform prefer the most, became the most popular video card in April again GeForce GTX 1650. Now she has a share 5,98% (+2.02% per month).
The 2019 budget NVIDIA graphics accelerator has displaced a much more powerful graphics card from the first line. GeForce RTX 3060whose share compared to March decreased by almost 6% and now stands at 4,51%. The second place is occupied by the still relevant GeForce GTX 1060 with a number 4,84% (-2.85% per month).
Interestingly, the statistics for the GTX 1650 cover both desktop and laptop versions of this GPU, while the RTX 3060 is divided into two positions – a variant for desktop PCs and separately for laptops. The latter is slightly behind its older brother and shows a rating 4,35% (+1,32% per month).
NVIDIA still dominates this field with a large number of budget and mid-range graphics cards. Concerning AMD and Intelthen they barely managed to get into the top 25 only due to an insignificant number of “embeddings” and one discrete model (Radeon RX 580), ranked 24th.
The April study also showed that processors Intel remain a favorite for many Steam users with a share 67,14%while at AMD this figure is more than twice as low (32,84%).
