GeForce Game Ready 531.29 Drivers Launched by NVIDIA

NVIDIA released the latest version of its GeForce Game Ready drivers today. Drivers solve several problems. First, we fixed a bug that caused abnormally high CPU usage for the NVIDIA Container driver internal process. Fixed stability issues on some laptops with GeForce GTX 10/MX250/350 series GPUs. Fixed some stability issues with Adobe CC application with previous 531.18 drivers.

This new Game Ready driver also provides the best gaming experience for the latest NVIDIA DLSS 3 enabled games, including Atomic Heart and THE FINALS Closed Beta.

Fixed issues in version 531.29 WHQL

  • You may experience higher CPU usage from the NVIDIA Container after exiting the game.
  • Some laptops with GeForce GTX 10/MX250/350 series GPUs may experience stability issues.
  • Stability issues with Adobe apps when using 531.18

Known issues in WHQL version 531.29

  • Turning HDR on and off in-game causes game stability issues when using a non-native resolution.
  • The monitor may flicker briefly when waking up from sleep mode if the DSR/DLDSR function is enabled.
  • [Halo Wars 2] The play foliage is larger than usual and constantly shimmers.
  • [GeForce RTX 4090] Watch Dogs 2 may flicker when looking at the sky
  • [Hogwarts Legacy] Black screen/freeze when running on shader compile screen using driver 531.18 Workaround: Close and restart the game.
  • Applying GeForce Experience Freestyle filters causes games to crash
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins stability issues when using 531.18
