Is it still useful to wear a mouth mask in class or at school? Last week, an average of 510 Belgians became infected with the corona virus. The number of new infections and hospital admissions is therefore still on an upward trend. As long as those figures do not fall, there can be no relaxation of the corona measures at school, says biostatistician Geert Molenberghs. What’s more, according to Molenberghs, it is a good idea to even extend the mouth mask obligation in some schools.
