The Presnensky court in Moscow fined 5,000 rubles and ordered the expulsion of blogger Nikolai Lebedev from Russia to his homeland in Moldova, known on the Internet as Nekoglai (Nekoglai) for violating migration rules.

According to the decision of the court, whose meeting took place today, November 9, Lebedev, a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 3.1 of article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. He was sentenced to a fine with administrative expulsion from Russia.

With a grimace, Lebedev portrayed the actions of a soldier, lying at home on the carpet.

As noted by the court press service, the filmed story was not mentioned during the meeting. The blogger, in fact, did not explain “anything concrete” about the violation committed against him.

Director of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina called Nikolai Lebedev a “geek-tiktoker” and announced his intention to address the Attorney General’s office. He believes he was trying to discredit the Russian army.

President of the INVITE agency, representing the interests of Nikolai Lebedev, Roberto Panchvidze he clarified that from the moment he was taken to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Presnensky district, his lawyer was with the detainee. A native of Chisinau was detained until his identity was clarified because he did not show the Moldovan passport to the police.

After the court decision takes effect, the blogger will have time to go abroad on his own, otherwise he will be forcibly expelled. Lebedev also has ten days to challenge the verdict.
