JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKN) I Gede Pasek Suardika believes the party he leads will be filled by qualified cadres. One of them is the former chairman of the Democratic Party, Anas Urbaningrum.
According to Pasek, the PKN will later be filled with former Democrat Party cadres who are loyal to Anas Urbaningrum.
There is even a possibility that Anas Urbaningrum will join the party after serving his prison term which ends in 2022.
Pasek explained that his party had communicated with Anas in building PKN. Not only that, Pasek also embraced former Democrat Party cadres loyal to Anas to join PKN.
Pasek believes that Anas will join. But currently, according to Pasek, Anas is still focused on serving a prison term which is certain to be released in 2022.
“About where the Air Force is going, so for now let him focus on completing the current one. What is certain is that we all ask for his blessing,” said Pasek, Saturday (10/30/2021).
“We’ll just wait for him. At this time, Mas AU’s friends (Anas Urbaningrum) are working hard to get rid of the pedestal first so that this party can move and grow well,” continued Pasek.
Meanwhile, Anas was sentenced to 8 years in prison plus a fine of Rp. 300 million, a subsidiary of three months in prison.
